DEPTH OF STYLE: THE ''AGBADA'' TREND

The "Agbada" is a long flowing robe with wide sleeves, worn mostly by Men from Western Nigeria (YORUBA's).

DJ XCLUSIVE
It is also worn by men in the Republic of Benin and West Africa at large.
The AGBADA attire used to be a traditional outfit for a typical rich YORUBA man, but it has soon become an attire for all tribes. Gone are those days when the attire was considered strictly for men, the female trend setters and Fashionistas have recently been rocking this outfit in various colours and designs. It can be sewn with different fabrics; Ankara's, Lace, Aso-one, Guinea etc.

Here are pictures of personalities who have worn the AGBADA attire recently and have shown that the AGBADA is a trend that has come to stay for both genders.

Kids also haven't been left out of this trend

Feel free to drop your comments below, now back to more pictures...

Have a lovely week(end) ✌

EXPRESSIONS WITH MARIA

Walls.
A form of security.
A level of protection.
A sort of shield from the public prying eyes.
Made of bricks and raised as high as could ever be.
My walls.
My security.
My mind's protection.
My shield from the public prying eyes.
Made of broken pieces of loves i once gave,
Made of words that cut my soul,
Made of regrets of mistakes,
Made of verdicts passed by my conscience.
You swing a sledge hammer at my walls;
To feed your curiousity of what lies beyond,
To rip apart that which still survives.
To fulfil your quest of making me 'normal'. My walls wont fall; to please your curiousity for the human mind is childish in its curiousity running after the next shiny thing.
My walls wont fall; for you to claw at what remains of me.
My walls wont fall; cause i cant be normal for i never was.
My walls wont fall; for although your quest is just and true, you hit a wall that doesnt exist.
