The "Agbada" is a long flowing robe with wide sleeves, worn mostly by Men from Western Nigeria (YORUBA's).
It is also
worn by men in the Republic of Benin and West Africa at large.
The
AGBADA attire used to be a traditional outfit for a typical rich YORUBA
man, but it has soon become an attire for all tribes. Gone are those
days when the attire was considered strictly for men, the female trend
setters and Fashionistas have recently been rocking this outfit in
various colours and designs. It can be sewn with different fabrics;
Ankara's, Lace, Aso-one, Guinea etc.
Here are pictures of personalities who have worn the AGBADA attire recently and have shown that the AGBADA is a trend that has come to stay for both genders.
