Hello
peeps i will be telling us some handy healthy hair tips for some of us that are
having damaged hair or to avoid damaged hair. You can start by using these
healthy tips to have your hair look healthy again.
1 USING HEALTHY WASHING AND
STYLING HABITS
(A)CHANGE YOUR WASHING ROUTINE-------
Most people think that washing their hair every time is the best thing to do,
trust me it’s not because it can really dry it out. So Don’t wash your hair
every day, give your hair break between washing so as to restore its balance.
Wash your hair with cold water not hot water because hot water is hard on your
hair and can lead to split ends
(B)HANDLE YOUR HAIR GENTLY------ Your
hair is fragile and it needs to be treated with care to stay healthy, so after
washing, gently pat it dry with a towel instead of wringing it out, let it
finish air drying. Use a wide toothed
comb instead of a brush.
(C)USE HEAT STYLING DEVICES SPARINGLY
---- keep away your hair dryer, straightener, curling iron and hot rollers
unless you have a special occasion. But if you really have to use a blow dryer
sometimes, use it on a cool setting or when you do use heat styling devices; be
sure to put a protective serum in your beforehand. But i will strongly advise to
avoid them because applying heat to your hair can damage it.
(D)USE HOMEMADE TREATMENT---- Egg
yolk and olive oil mask, vinegar and plain yoghurt or sour cream are very good homemade treatment.

USE HEALTHY HAIR CARE PRODUCTS
(A) SHAMPOOS AND CONDITIONERS----- Avoid
shampoos that contain strong cleansers called sulphates that strip the natural
oil from your hair and causes to get frizzy and frayed. So choose choose a
natural shampoo made with cleansing herbs and oils instead. Conditioners
made with aloe, coconut oil, Shea butter and other pure substances add moisture
to your hair. So look out for conditioners that contain the above
mentioned.
Avoid using styling product that contain a lot of chemicals and try to
stay away from dyes and other permanent treatment.
(C)OIL
TREATMENT-----Giving your hair oil treatment which is massaging your scalp and
hair with oils like coconut oil, almond oil, olive oil, etc restores your
hair’s softness and shine. For best result massage your root and hair well.
Once every few weeks, give yourself a deep conditioning treatment as follows;
---Massage
olive oil or almond oil into your hair
---Cover
your hair with a shower cap or plastic cap
---Let
the oil sit on your hair for 3 hours or preferably over night
---Rinse
it out with cool water until the water runs clear, them shampoo and condition
afterwards
(3)HEALTHY
LIFESTYLE----taking nutrients that nourishes the hair is very very essential.
Well balanced diet with plenty of vitamin B, iron, protein and omega3 helps the
hair stay thick and healthy as possible.
---Eat
beef, chicken, fish, green leaf to get iron and protein.
---walnuts
and avocados are excellent sources of omega 3.
---Try
some hair supplements too like biotin.
(4)Get
your hair trimmed often as soon as the ends begin to split, go to the saloon
and get a trim.
